Seeing the whole super league thing go down and how they got away with it is the closest I've come.

Just couldn't keep away knowing how much trouble we were in the last few years.

I would never support another team but I'm definitely less invested than I was. It's an age thing I think. Approaching 50 means I have more important things in my life. It irks me when we lose but a few years ago it would ruin entire weekends. It wasn't healthy for me or my wife who had to put up with me being moody. I'll always be a Blue though.

I follow a non league team as well. Everton my main love but as I lived in SE London I have watched Welling United for years.

I follow a non league team as well. Everton my main love but as I lived in SE London I have watched Welling United for years.

Same here, I follow York City, as my missus is a Yorkie and I fell in love with lower league footy, as a result of going to watch York over the years.

I also go and watch Sale Sharks with my eldest lad as he plays rugby and that got me into watching both union and league.

I`ve been to watch Marine a few times and really enjoyed watching them too.

I think it`s an age thing tbh, as you get older you seem to come to a realisation, that there`s more to life than the Premier League.

Definitely. We had a son recently and people were like 'will he be an Everton fan' and my response is I'll try to keep him away from football as much as possible
