Have Everton ever reduced you to tears?

I had a few Tears in my eyes after our Hillsborough Tribute and when Jelavic scored in the semi I had a few, never felt so emotional about a goal before in my life.

EDIT: Oh and when Fiorentina put us out on pens, Frey had a blinder that day FFS.

I don't mean figuratively, I mean literal salty discharge flowing from your eye sockets. It's ok you can admit it, we're among friends. I've cried over sports before. As a grown man. I care too much or at least used to. There I said it.

Yes. When Rhys Jones mum, dad an brother stepped on to the turf before the game, I was covered head to toe in goose pimples. They where on the big screen and looked so lost and in such pain, my eyes just started to burn and filled with tears.

Probably not the answer you were looking for, but being inside Goodison brought me to tears.

When we got my Liverpool in the cup in April last year. That was a f*cking painful moment...i punched everything in my path to the station.

84 cup final when ratters held the trophy aloft and the Wimbledon game in my adulthood, plus many childhood tears, many of which were induced by the s**te and clive thomas.

77 league cup final second replay. Last minute of Extra time we make an almighty cock up and Villa score. Tears just came flooding out. Next was the 77 semi-final replay against the RS. Already cheated out of the first match I still had high hopes but they destroyed us 3-0. That hurt so much I had to sit down on the now empty kippax terrace and have a sob. Cruel year was 77 but also a great year.

When we got beat 5-1 by Dinamo Bucharest. I think after going out of the Champions League the way we did and then having a crack at the Uefa Cup, only to get thrashed in the 1st leg, it was a build up of frustration.

The only time I have ever shed a tear was when Oldham put us out of the cup in 1990 - I was only a kid at the time and was genuinely gutted.

1989 cup final- I balled for about 3 days.

You must have destroyed the poor girl. Unless you meant "bawled" for three days.:o
Anyway, mine were the 1984 Cup final (my grandfather and source of my Evertonianism had died the previous January), winning the league in 1985 and 1987, beating the Skunks to secure fourth place and the 2009 semifinal.

I've cried when playing for Stockport County and some cnut broke my leg in a 50/50. Didn't cry at the time, I cried in the ozzy when they said they would need to let me go.
that was 3 years ago and now I am not arsed about my future.

I cried for everton when we beat United at Wembley. I was front row so just had the goal in the way. Couldn't see a thing so I just looked behind me at fellow blues.

Bloody hell, I think I was there for that

Yep. Probably a good few times when I was young, but most recently the semi final last year. I was drunk like, but still. Worst feeling ever. We bottled it and rolled over for our biggest rivals at Wembley even though we were the better team and went 1-0 up after weeks of anticipation.

OH FFS I'M FIGHTING BACK TEARS AGAIN.
