Has Fellaini really got a £22m buyout clause in his contract ?

You've been here since October, and are telling numerous other members who have been here a lot longer than you that they're all wrong that it has been discussed plenty.

You're wrong, get over it ffs.

I'm not wrong though.

Before the recent media reports, discussions about a Fellaini release clause have been limited to a few posts on message boards, and a few comments made by your mates down the pub. Compare how many Evertonians are discussing it now, to how many were discussing it before the recent media reports, there's simply no comparison.

The only evidence you can produce are links to a handful of Evertonians discussing the possibility of a Fellaini release clause, which is what my entire argument is based on.

And I think it's clear who really has a problem with being proved wrong here, and it's probably the person who tried to pass off a Daily Mail article which in no way mentions a release clause as being evidence that substantiates their argument. Or it may be the person who rather desperately performed a search of this forum, only to find that the only threads which are specifically focused on this subject are from, wait for it, THIS WEEK.

Most Evertonians still think Tesco were going to pay for DK, despite a massive campaign from various pressure groups to prove otherwise. So please forgive me, if I happen to think that referring to a long forgotten article on Toffeeweb substantiates my argument, rather than dismisses it.

Do i have to keep going ?

It's up to you, but all you're doing is substantiating my argument through referring to a handful of Evertonians discussing the possibility of Fellaini having a release clause over the internet.

Which as stated, is what I have been saying all along.

Erm, you said there were whispers and it was barely discussed outside Everton forums. I then gave you two sources which imply it was mentioned on Talksport at least once.

Is Talksport not big enough for you ? Is Mark Lawrenson not well known in the media ?

It's like you're under the impression that people don't take things they read online and discuss them in real life or something. That's not the case.

You are.

Again.

To be honest, you're becoming a parody of yourself in this thread. Pretty much everything you type is wrong and you get the ol' JCB out instead of just putting your hand up and admitting it.

His contract was running out and nobody bid for him, I think that is a pretty good sign that nobody was interested in him.

Nobody was arsed about him when he spent the majority of time in central midfield. He had a few boss performances in than position, and a plethora of bad ones.

My point is that he is crap at tracking runners, and therefore not a very good central midfielder, never mind a defensive midfielder.

There is an awful lot more to central midfield play than tackling. Positioning and creativity are just as important, and Fellaini isn't very good at either of them.

Anyone who is expecting a bid of more than 25 million is likely to be disappointed.

I stopped replying to you because, well, you're basically a lunatic, but I thought I'd just bring that up again.

Might want to pull your pants back up, Brennan has had you good and proper here.

Tbh mate i thought he'd give it up when other members started telling him he was just plain wrong. Apparently not.

He doesn't. He's got a blind spot about Fellaini like Royal Blue Jersey because his brother got banned or something. So he's just completely irrational about this one issue.

For example, he dismissed David Moyes' opinion on Fellaini's abilities as a central midfielder - and then held up Joe Royle as a paragon of tactical knowledge instead.

I read it the other day, shook my head and decided not to respond. Hence my thorough lack of surprise at his showing here.

Joe Royle is a better manager than Moyes, though. That's just fact.

Would love big Joe back here.

I reckon Allardyce would do better than Moyes. Moyes is ****. Mark Noble, Andy O'Brien and Allardyce in. Fellaini, Baines and Moyes out. COYB FTRS
