Doubt it mate, the Greeks love the Cypriots ( well, apart from the Turks obviously ), but it's generally considered appropriate to bribe the police force that you upset.
Oh bugger I’ve got my islands confused again lol

Well why not bribe- sorry, make a “sizeable dontation” to the Cypriots ready for next years holiday eh? Get it in nice and early!

An as yet undiscovered amoeba that had never encountered humanity could tell he was lying in that interview.

“I can’t hold my booze, I messed up, here’s a sizeable donation to the Cypriot police charity and I’m very sorry” would probably suffice.
Probably would have as well. Bit of a red face and move on with things.

He's just another Premier League footballer who literally has more money than sense.
He went abroad, he gets bladdered, it kicks off and he gives it the big 'do you know who
I am' stuff. Just another thick as a plank footballer who thinks the rules don't apply to him.
He's not the first and he certainly won't be the last. But he plays for an American owned
team who play in red and who effectively own the media and what it pumps out. Hence he's a saint.
If you have seen the 'interview' he did with Dan Roan of the BBC then you will know
exactly what I mean. It is a PR exercise pure and simple - 100%. It is not objective,
reasoned or balanced journalism in any way. It is way beyond the remit of the BBC.
However, it has been aired at least 4 times already on the BBC to effectively change the
narrative around the story and exonerate him.
Would I say the same if it was a City player? Most definitely. Kyle Walker is another one
who didn't think the rules applied to him. Jack Grealish etc etc etc it just gets boring
with these guys. It really does.
