2025/26 Harrison Armstrong

I’m surprised we have actually recalled him. And I hope he doesn’t just end up on our bench all season.

But with Gana only missing 3 more league games, does it reflect that KDH and possibly Alcaraz’ injuries are worse than first thought?

I dont think so mate. We're going to get injuries, suspensions etc. Look at the bench, we've got players on it who won't be getting minutes.

Let's take Sunday against Brentford, can you imagine we're 3-0 up with 20 to play and can rest Garner and Tim and bring on Armstrong and Rohl (as an example). Makes a huge difference as he wouldn't just be a number, he would be giving fresh legs to help see games out and getting PL experience in high pressured environments.

I really hope it plays out like that, i just have reservations wether it does.

It will be interesting to see if he gets time over Rohl, and if they ship him back at the end of January, when the midfield is full strength.
Unless he cements his position, I think long-term this is should be the avenue because he's flourishing with competitive, first-team football.

In an ideal world, I'd have preferred he stayed at PNE and continued to develop until the end of the season.

Best of both worlds honestly given how likely it is he goes back at the end of the month. Only one losing out is Preston and at least for them it's just the one month
