2025/26 Harrison Armstrong

Moyes said more than likely that he’ll be brought back from his loan spell.

I actually watched him for Preston v Coventry live at the stadium (long story!) and he was fantastic, best player on the pitch for them that night.

Wouldn’t surprise me if he was brought back until the last day of January then loaned back to Preston (he wouldn’t be allowed to play for a third club this season, so could only be a move to Preston), as our squad looks stronger in the middle once Gueye is back from AFCON and with his loan going so well, would be a shrewd move to put him back there for his development.

….much will depend on the KDH situation but I also think it’s more likely Armstrong stays at PNE. I’d imagine the situation will be re-assessed before the window closes but Gueye will also be back by that point.
Did you see our bench last night HA would be an asset to fetch on - Rhol had a bog standard game in fact he looked better at full back ....

….probably said it all there Joey.

Down to the bare bones and he’d only make the bench last night. Imagine when KDH, Gueye and Ndiaye return he’d be struggling for any game time, best leave him where he is.

Next season could give him more chance if we’re transitioning from Gueye, although Iroegbunamhas really thrown down a marker and will take some shifting if he keeps up this form. Saying that, didn’t your brother provide information that Moyes has told Iroegbunam to find another club (apologies if I’m getting him mixed up with another player)?

Better to be woke than an ignorant gobsh!te, so I'll happily take that as a compliment.
Is he at it again had a go at @LinekersLegs last night ....

Skill & stamina wise looks no different than Rhol - plus HA is match fit ....

….i think that’s fair comparison (Rohl/Armstrong), although Rohl has versatility to cover a number of positions and might well quickly improve as far as quality is concerned.

Unless he slots in nicely at RB, it’s doubtful Rohl will get a start when everybody is fit so him and Armstrong would be competing from the bench. I can see him staying where he is but you never know.

@Joey66

Sit down, relax and get comfy.
A nice blanket and hot water bottle should help..

Make the most of the day, and don't get to excited..

Only 8 1/2hrs to go..

Preston v Sheffield Wednesday Thursday 15:00

Tough day, keep your eye on starting line up..

I assume this is because of the Alcaraz injury / situation

Is it necessary though as we still have tim, garner and rohl who did well last night

Maybe it’s just to give us more options as players are going to get tired and we will need to rotate more during this busy time
I'm guessing it's just to get us through January and until Gana and KDH are back. I imagine he'll head back to Preston on Jan 31st.
