Needed to have as an option till let players come back or are fit again - Garner is the worry as no contract signed as yet ?

I would imagine that if he doesn't renew his deal before the end of the season we would have no choice but to sell him in the summer. I'd be surprised if that happened, the lad seems settled and is getting regular game time, but I suppose his agent could be in his ear. Either way, I doubt that particular issue is a factor in Armstrong's potential recall, I think the injuries to KDH and Alcaraz and Gana and Ndiaye being at AFCON are the major factors.

You never know until a contract is signed but Moyes and Everton journos seem fairly relaxed about a new one being agreed.

The thing is if he came back he wont start this wkend, he wont play end of jan, so that's 4 games to do something. Can't see a start in that period.
That takes a month out of playing time..

If Preston do really well in that month, he has to earn his place back..
