Garner might actually be our best current RB but we can't take what he gives us out of he midfield, he was brilliant tonight. Moyes moving Rohl there when Patterson went off kind of points to him thinking that too

Can he go back to Preston? I think it’s at the point now where there is no chance we have signings immediately lined up for Jan and our absentees are too many. I was against recalling him it but seeing the bench tonight, it’s justified imo
I think it's the right thing to do. He's played plenty of games over the last 12 months. Now it's time for him to be part of the squad and fight for a place.
Look at the bench we had tonight. There's no guarantee that Gana or Ndiaye comes back fit. There's no guarantee that we won't get more injuries.
He's had a great half a season at Derby, hes had a great half a season at Preston. We're short in a number of areas and this bulks up our squad. He's ready for Everton now, even if people think he'll only get 10 minutes here and there, I swear there'll be games he's needed for longer. If we are 2 up against a side, wouldn't it be great to rest Garner, Gana or Tim or Rohl and he comes on for 15 minutes.
