2025/26 Harrison Armstrong

Evidently we have ....over the Afcon scenario
Im sure I read players can only be recalled during transfer windows though (unless it’s different rules for a recall clause) which would effectively mean ending the loan for the sake of 3 games, unless Moyes is seeing it as the chance to drop gana out the team and isn’t expecting him to come back into it.

What you call a square peg in a round hole - Moyes thinks Utility...a sort of footballing MRCA.
So when he can get them he loves a utility player...I know there have to be some specialists...
But 9 times out of 10 though Moyes go for who he thinks is he can trust, somebody who can do more than 1 position... could be a Scottish value for money thing - who knows

Thing is the next guy will have to come in, clear out yet another load of  Deadwood sorry, 'Utility' /Square peg type players re-pour whatever 'foundations' some people think Moyes is building and then rebuild the rebuilding

Do it once - Do it right...(or is it the other way round ?)
He's an enigma. We make an offer for Tete so it appears he recognises the need for a specialist RB,then we start the season with a CB there...or a CM.

Evidently we have a clause in there ....as an option to recall him in January ,,,

Former players who played on the wing - Osman - Rodwell Anichebe Vaughn Artetta & maybe Rooney just off the of of my head - also Lescott at left back keeping a young Leighton Baines out of the side too- DM is known to fit square pegs in round holes ....

And shown little other than control the ball and play a short safe pass. Not exactly the second coming of Gareth Bale that some posters saw him as
He isn't that sort of player and anyone who thought he is well they are wrong, he is far more like a Grealish type than a marauding winger racing down the touchline like Bale was. It's always been thought that as his career progresses he is likely to end up playing in the middle behind the striker eventually.

The ability to slide a through ball through - the versatility to play as a defensive midfielder or a no ten too - Just being aroung the squad working with stars like Grealish etc & being available etc

Our last game a young full back aged 20 yrs old at city undid us ... in the 2nd half O'really no O'Reilly....
