2025/26 Harrison Armstrong

Correct he put a very good through ball in - not seen that all season from a Everton midfielder...

The 1970 team played with one left winger Morrissey - our other winger Husband cut in to support our number 9 ....

The 1980s team had Sheedy on the wing never a speed merchant he just tucked inside also ... trick trev stayed wide .....

The no 10 role should be a box to box midfielder - maybe Harrison Armstrong can perform that or Tim ?

Tarks needs resting he started the rot yesterday then blamed others ... the midfield is the engine of your team & letting Harrison Armstrong go out on loan IMO was a clanger by DM ..... then to get a loan player with obligation to buy was just panic buying by DM ..... never a Fellani player too slow imo.....
Should probably sack that Sheedy lad off, too slow...

Sheedy was never a winger he slotted into a four man midfield with a wand of a left foot - never a winger to beat a man on the touchline slotted inside to spray balls around & scored many goals for the blues - Colin Harvey always stated the 1970s side had an edge as that team had a 3 man midfield with two wingers in Husband & Morrissey & one centre forward in Joe Royle where the 1980s team had a four man midfield Sheedy Bracewell Stephen Reid & two attacking forwards in Gray, Sharp or Heath -

You are not really saying Sheedy was a speed merchant are you - a great player, a great goalscorer IMO, but never an out and out winger - that's my point-The 1980s team did have more fire power - the 1970s team relied on goals from all over the park - Bally 20 league goals in one season - he was so special Box to Box goalscorer.....

That's why our present 2 man midfield is not cutting it - we need 3 in there HA would provide young legs & a bit of pace .....
