2025/26 Harrison Armstrong

I watched an interview with him on the local BBC news the other day: the lad looks and sounds like he's desperate to get back here.

He's had a taste of Championship football and he'd do better being around the first team here and pick up the odd 30 minutes here and there in the second half of the season. That would be the perfect solution in fact.
We'll have to agree to differ on this one mate. I'd say another half season playing every week in the championship will be a lot better for him than the odd 30 minute cameo and in that scenario I think the player will be sat there on the bench thinking I should have stayed at preston and been battling to get in the play-offs. This is the key quote here "I just hope it’s the best for my development." - him and his agent (Martin Waldron) know it'll be better to stay at Preston because Moyes ain't going to play him.

I dont see it as a win-lose thing- just right and wrong. And I'm right here. Again.
Honestly mate you're not. My friend is involved in the Everton youth set up, he knows Martin Waldron who's his agent. Martin Waldron knows Moyes well and was 100% convinced that the best thing for Armstrong would be to play in the Championship this season because Moyes won't play him. Nothing has changed there's no way that Armstrong (or Waldron) wants to come back and sit on the bench with the odd cameo.

We wouldn't bring him back, to than loan him back out within a month.

It's utter nonsense, not sure how this idea keeps doing the works on here.

Apart from it just being a stupid idea on the whole.

We have 6 games in Jan, he wouldn't get in the first or last game.
So you have 4 games to try and fit him in.
You have KDH possibly back and also Gana and Illy back in that period.

You either bring him back or leave him, the fiddling wont help anyone.

Its silly to me close of any option in my opinion mate - why would you...

If it benefited the club for a period time, awesome.

If it benefited Harrison to stay for the season here, awesome.

If it benefited Harrison to go back out on loan in Feb, awesome.

Why be closed minded and impose limits, there is a range of options - i wouldn't be dogmatic about any of them or him remaining out either, but ultimately i want the club to do what best helps the club.

A month wasted on his gametime, a month Preston will set their team playing without him.

They carry on picking up results, he than has to work his way back into the lineup.

The chopping and changing in the middle of season will be a nightmare.

If he gets recalled than keep him and let him train with the quality we have.
