2025/26 Harrison Armstrong

I hope this lad ends up captain before he's 21 so he can take the record of youngest captain off Tom effin Davies
I don't mean this harshly but this is a great example of why people should calm down a bit because this is how young homegrown players are spoken about when they're once touted as the next big thing but don't quite reach those heights.

Don't forget Tom effin Davies took the absolute piss out of Man City at the same age Harrison is now.

I wasn't being entirely serious Hetty

He scored a great goal that day, but never kicked on and never looked that good to me , he also didn’t have the hunger or desire. He was more interested skating and going for a coffee

Getting a lot of plaudits

Fetch him back in January I was correct from word go !
,
Take a step back Joey and look at it from Armstrong’s perspective. You’ve been openly critical about Moyes , what are you seeing that makes you think Moyes is going to improve him in training come January when he’ll be playing him off the bench for maybe 10 mins a match?
Conversely, why do you think Heckingbottom at Preston won’t allow him to continue to play 90 mins a match, and therefore give Armstrong and the Preston coaching staff enough material to work on improving his game?

We're seeing it every week Joey as he puts in MOTM performances in a mans league.
Take your stubborn head out your arse and look at his development not who's right or wrong.
I am entitled of mymopinion go & smoke a spliff & calm down- not mentioned CH either - who's rattled you're cage it's a forum of opinions if you think our midfield us adequate atm - I don't ok!

It's a thread on him stepping back on nothing when our midfield is so inept ATM - let's see if we improve by the end of December!

I do rate your commitment in here Joey!

I hope I don't come across too much of a downer because what's the point of football if you can't get excited about a young local lad who looks like he might be the real deal.

Seems to be doing well. Definitely has attributes. Reads the game well.
I watched half the game today, basically because he was playing, Dobbin and Small as ex players as well.
Armstrong played well the Southampton club channel
Which i was watching on were saying how good he was,
Do him the world of good getting minutes in a half decent team.
