….Moyes says he’ll be assessed in pre-season to determine if he’s part of the squad or needs to go out on loan for more games but “we like him”.
Sounded to me that it's more likely that he will end up on loan again. He may have an opportunity to impress in preseason especially with our ridiculous squad size, with most signings probably joining late during the window.

…I think it’s exactly how Moyes said, it all depends on pre-season. If he impresses enough for Moyes to determine he’ll use him then he’ll be part of the squad, otherwise he’ll be back on loan.

Moyes did say it’s very unusual for a loanee of his age to be playing so many games at Championship level.

Moyes is quite easy to read when he talks...I have a feeling that the plan is for another loan in the summer unless he does amazingly well in preseason. He mentioned about having 30, 40 games before really be ready for first team football that's why I think is very likely that he will end up on loan again.

The question is whether we are a good enough squad to allow decent youngsters to go out and get that experience. I remember Coleman going to Blackpool and it brought him on massively, so if we have enough first teamers to allow Armstrong to go on loan it might benefit both parties in the future.

That’s impossible to say until he’s had pre season.

Derby V Luton in 2hrs

Derby 21st 43pts
Luton 23rd 40pts

Up against Liam Walsh. Both teams have 3 in midfield so should be an interesting game.

Wonder why arsenal don't send Lewis-skelly on loan or utd don't send mainoo on loan seeing its so great to leave the development of your top young players to other clubs
