The difference between me and you, is that i honestly think if somebody made an offer, he would accept it and sell up. He does have the best interests of Everton at heart, its not ALL about money. If he sold tomorrow he would make a profit.

The world is gripped by a massive credit crunch, Billion £$ companys are folding, banks are folding, goverments are skint. But you expect EVIL BILL to go out and sell a company that not only needs £200m for purchase, but then would need another 500m+ to even start making a profit.

Sometimes you just need to take a step back, not EVERYTHING is EVIL BILLs fault, somethings he really has no control over.

If I had a billion $ to spend I wouldn't spend it on everton fc. I would rather buy a luxury boat and sail around the world and starving kids in africa.

Doubt it, but it wouldn't be the first time an investment banker tried to spoil a deal through another competitor.
 
Few things I'm not sure of. Well, really there's a million things I'm not sure of but I'll talk about sex on another thread.
This Harris guy has been on the job since September I believe.
Question: Is he being paid or does he only take a commission if he brokers a deal?
Either way, why has it taken the dozy fekker two months to realise there's a recession and that Liverpool isn't London?

Because IF somebody had made an offer, when BK comes out and says we need a buyer, they would turn round and say i made an offer, but BK turned it down. Its simple really, he cant be going around saying we are for sale, then when ppl make an offer refusing it, they will just go str8 to the papers and say BK is talking crap.

What would they gain in doing so? Except making sure they have zero chance in the future with a new offer? Bullshit-Bill could come up with a number of reasons why the buyer isn't fit to buy the club.

The prospective buyers' only reason to go public would be to get some free press. If they don't need it, it would be just harmful for them.
