Harris "I've made no progress trying to sell Everton"

I just think its what needs to be done. If not, it''ll be years before any investor would want a sniff. By then another season comes along, another sluggish transfer window, and we'll just stall or even drop down and out.

And if Newcastle get sold in the next month or so, that credit crunch lark isnt really an argument when there are willing investors ready to splash out 300million on a club.

Dislike the meffs as we do, there a far better proposition to blow loose illgotten money at. As the report says:

1 - Big stadium, fill it = lots of zlotys
2 - Overenthusiastic fans who love replica tops = muchos pesos.
3 - A city with only one club in it = no competition brother.

Their birds are boss though.

Demographics of Liverpool

Harris :"The demographics of Liverpool as an area are not hugely compelling."

Is it true ?

And all arrows point to Kirkby lala land for the salvation hehe.

The birds are fit tho. Me bird lives there :)

Let's face it, there's a class of Evertonian who'd doff their caps at Bill Kenwright. They have a master-servant relationship with him. And I'm convinced some of them would sooner we stayed under his ham-fisted control than win something. Sad, but there we have it.

Yes, but if Liverpudlians of both colours got on the bikes they are now using to find work, they could at the same time use the pedal power to tow both clubs into a more financially attractive demographic area, such as Woking and Maidenhead.

Get behind your club and get pedalling!
Kenrick IN!!!

Your so wrong, even ppl like me, who can see the effort that BK has put into the club, even we know the mistakes hes made, the lies hes told. But we are just realists. You can scream KENWRIGHT OUT till your blue in the face, but he aint gonna go untill some1 makes him an offer.

No matter how many stupid rules he sets the facts are still the same, untill some1 makes an offer he cant sell, how many offers has he turned down? Thats right none, its not like hes turning away all these arabs/russians/americans/chinese. The facts are simple, not 1 person has made him an offer.

The difference between me and you, is that i honestly think if somebody made an offer, he would accept it and sell up. He does have the best interests of Everton at heart, its not ALL about money. If he sold tomorrow he would make a profit.

The world is gripped by a massive credit crunch, Billion £$ companys are folding, banks are folding, goverments are skint. But you expect EVIL BILL to go out and sell a company that not only needs £200m for purchase, but then would need another 500m+ to even start making a profit.

Sometimes you just need to take a step back, not EVERYTHING is EVIL BILLs fault, somethings he really has no control over.

So what your saying really is that your one of those Evertonians

I see it as a bit of a non-argument to be honest. He controls the club, we don't. He gets to decide what he does with it, he doesn't have any legal obligation to consult us.
Whatever else it may be, primarily Everton Football Club is a business. If we don't like the way it's run we can take our 'custom' elsewhere - easy for me to say i know.
I hope that as a confessed lifelong fan, his interests in running the club go further than wanting to make a fast buck out of it, and that if he does sell it, it will be to an entity that will also not be inclined to view it as a (potential) cash machine. Beyond that my hopes don't go much further than the club not doing a Leeds.

Attendance/season ticket figures should give a good indication. As should a geographical breakdown of merchandise sales.
On a historical level, Liverpool as trading centre has arguably been in decline since the end of the slave trade, and definitely in sharp decline since the end of WW2.
