Happy St. George's Day

I see that the English were up with the joys of spring, ready to celebrate and share being English today then.

In truth: You didnt know, you're not really arsed and you just like to moan about them bloody foreign PC types stopping you celebrating it.

Welsh, Scottish and the Irish do it better and it hurts.

That's got to be post of the year, fantastic good sir.

I can't wait for Steevie and Ghost to Log on, they'll be fuming.

It's fair enough to celebrate St. George's day. Let the English reclaim their heritage and all that from the BNP, who have kinda hijacked the whole idea of the event in recent years.

Personally, being a mixture of nationalities, I won't be joining in the celebrations. I always preferred "Britishness" to "Englishness" anyway. And even then, the whole idea of attaching oneself to an extra-large clan, which constantly rabbits on about "identity", doesn't hold huge appeal.

A question for the nationalists: Can anyone be English or is it a matter of birth or maybe even your ethnic background?

Only the white English can be English Nebolid. Dont you know anything about nationalism. Your family tree must have its roots from The Vikings to be English.

Thats not my view by the way, im English and proud, but thats about it really.

So that would make the English Danish?

Only the Wools are really English anyway. The Wirral lads and the Knowsley lerds have roots stretching back to stoneage man, especially Mikelsgoat.

Im a flag waving woolyback, thats all I can say really. Viva La Wirral.

1. St. Helens
2. Skem
3. Knowsley
4. Other places that have just become Wool land but weren't 20 years ago.
5. Wirral

That's how I rate it lad, With Wirral as the worst of the Wool areas.

i for one have never and will never celabrate st.patrick's day, i am not irish i am english, i'll leave that to all the irish and A.W.I.'S (americans without identities). we allow all and sundry to celebrate religious and cultural events yet ban ourselves from celebrating our own identity. for me, ban all the others as well, if you want to celebrate burns night etc mr. brown then [Poor language removed] back to scotland to do so, it should be bannned here !! our flag and national identity was hijacked by the far right but by preventing us from celebrating who we are , we are pushed towards the right to regain our identity.
