He sadly has been a shocking waste of space so far this season and I cant see how he gets any better.

You slated everyone for saying he was a liability by saying "but he's our best player". Goals don't make you the best player. Digne was our best player by a mile last year and he had, what, 4?

It's Martinez/Howard all over again, The problem is obvious but he won't change it.

He doesn't make any effort to get involved in matches. The sign of a player who is either scared or not interested.

Rooney was our top scorer too but one of our worst performers overall.

He's got a decent shot, end of.

To have a decent shot you have to have balance and technique something plenty in the Prem don't have his fabulous turn to create his goal at Leicester being a case in point. His issue is not delivering such moments often enough that is a consistency problem not an issue with ability.

Spurs also thought they could uncork the genie from his bottle but his efforts both there and here show he's a lost fanny

Remember the “whoever doesn’t think he’s our best player don’t know football” shouts after he’d have one good game after stinking the joint out for 5 straight? Good times.

Would love him to have even 1 good game in 5 that would be a vast improvement. Worst thing that happened was him scoring that late goal against West Ham when he was sub. It made him look falsely good.
