This is the thing. What I do have to admit though is for that money he's recruited well and improved them well, which is more than I would have given him credit for before this job.
But nine managers out of ten with those resources would have won the league, but perhaps not as comfortably. He's been helped by competitors like United recruiting abysmally in key positions.
He doesnt sign the players, the Tixi fella does.
Taking nothing away from the form they are on, thats all down to Pep, hes got them purring, hes a very good manager, but hes no Peak Jose.

Not expecting you to suck him off, he's probably not your type. It does however make me laugh when he gets tagged as a fraud and people are so bitter that they can't see just how good he is.
It isn't just about buying great players. It's coaching them and improving them. There aren't many players at City he hasn't improved, and improved by a good margin.
