Contrary to opinion football is the most popular sport here for kids. The problem is no high level professional pathway, where unless you head to Europe you’ll end up playing pro Cricket or AFL if youre good enough. Basketball and Rugby codes will never be top due to being based on particular body type, tennis is too exclusive.
