Scotland have beaten Czech home and away recently so should win that game. I also fancy them get a draw against Croatia at home.
Just depends how many they beat England by as to whether they finish top or 2nd.

I was checking out the odds on sky bet and England were actually bookies favorites to win the tournament. Probably because the SFs and final are at Wembley so they'd get home advantage should they make it that far.

Realistically there could be up to 8 potential winners. It looks pretty wide open tournament. Germany, France and Portugal all in the same group is pretty brutal.

Personally I'd put France as Favorites, followed by Belgium. Both Germany and Spain underachieved at the last WC, but you can never rule them out either.

Reminded me of when I went to Wembley to see England v Scotland (the game where Gascoigne scored the winner). I was a bit early, so stayed outside the ground soaking up the atmosphere. It was a lovely sunny day. I was leaned up against a barrier next to a Scottish guy with a young lad who I assumed was his son. The Scottish guy was stripped to the waist and covered in tattoo's. This reporter came along, obviously from one of the quality papers, Times, Guardian Telegraph etc., He had obviously heard the Scottish accent. He spoke with a very posh accent and said to the Scottish guy 'I suppose you expect a Scottish victory'. The Scottish guy looked him up and down and said in a broad Glasgow accent, 'We've no ef'in chance'. End of interview.

If waistcoat doesn't start foden in every game I would sack him.
He will. Best team would be Grealish right, Foden left and Mount behind the striker, but Southgate will prob play Sterling/Rashford on the left

That was Czech's C Team. Scotland will finish 4th in this group, don't get too confident lmao.

Amazing that Jadon Sancho is sweating on a place in the squad, 21 years of age and just had his third season in a row of 20 goals & 20 assists.

Him and Foden at the side of Kane would be amazing, sadly Southgate is set in his ways, and will prefer being defensively strong over attacking guile.
With all due respect, scoring and assisting against the likes of Mainz, Paderborn, Werder Bremen is not the same standard as international football.
