If he left his foot in waiting to be tripped that changes things but i don't think he did. Took about 6 replays to see it but his back foot was clipped as he was bringing it back up meaning he couldn't carry on in step.

And whether he would have got the ball or not if he carried on running is irrelevant as well. If we are talking about DOGSO then it would, but we aren't, it's whether he was tripped when the opponent made the challenge.
