They always counted stoppage time on vibes instead of how much time the ball actually wasn't in play, and now they aren't doing that.

The tournament would be better if Wales went into the game knowing win and they're through.

This isn't anti-England either, the same situation could happen to Tunisia going into their last match with France (unlikely but still) and I'll make the same point. They shouldn't have to win by x goals to finish above the team they'll have beaten to tie on points.

In a small group stage with one game against each other H2H is far more likely to create a tie than goal difference or goals scored. If Wales beat England and Iran draw with USA then 3 teams finish on 4 points. Each have won one and lost one against the other.

I think goal difference makes much more sense in this format
