wouold never work, a new stadium would cost around 500m, which we would have to pay half, and they would want a 60-70,000 seater and loads of corperate areas which we would never fill, yet we would have to pay half to own half of it.

If it isnt 50/50 they could decide to hold concerts and other things with our our approval so it has to be 50/50.

we need a 50,000 seater and a few more corporate areas, but the rs WOULD WANT 70,000 AND AS MANY BOXES AS ARSENAL HAVE

Are you on actual crack ?

EDIT: Unless you're strictly referring to a 70,000 seater, which would probably be there or thereabouts. But we as a club could easily get a stadium which would fit our needs for less than half that price.

Pretty sure there's about 100,000 blues in the Merseyside area who get to at least 5 games per season or something like that. The restricted views at Goodison and the dire football we play early in the season are the main reasons why we don't fill Goodison, with a new stadium we could probably fill over the 50,000 quoted.

Also £500m, are we building the space shuttle launchpad from the Mass-Transit Rail thread?

Is this a subtle way off ****ging Kenwright off?

If the right offer comes along, he will sell but only if the offer is right for Everton, not Kenwright... would you rather have the Venkys or the dildo brothers?
didnt knewright oversee the kings dock, the right offer was there for EFC but what happened? DK was on his watch too and it wouldve been the death of us - albeit in a nice flat-pack stadium which wouldve been a nice earner for bill - how much did he waste on pursuing that nightmare when loads of us knew it was always a dead end. sugar daddies are in short supply and anyone coming in for us needs to be given the twice over but i`ll go with my gut instinct on this and plump for those dildo brothers

psst hey buddy. you wanna watch that potty mouth of yours round these parts. a man gotta know when to keep schtum or you will know my name. i see we have met before **double vaults off skyscraper and swings through evening air**

Also another WORLD-CLASS stadium with less of a footprint than Goodison, in the heart of the city centre.

Millenium Stadium, Cardiff, cost just over £100m to re-develop or 2 and a half Andy Carroll's

Christ. Was that from scratch? How did Wembley cost 8 times more?

It was a re-development of the old Cardiff Arms Park i believe. £121m was the total cost. God knows why Wembley was so much more, but no-one has ever come to task over that

I always thought it was a new build, dunno why. Cracking stadium, was there for the rugger a few years back.

That is a very good read and I take on board what it is saying, but how come the RS are now thinking of a re-devloped Anfield? I honestly think there is logic and sense in re-developing and I really believe it is possible.

Im not an architect nor do I have any real ideas on how to do it, but I believe it can be done as Newcastle & Manchester United and now the RS have proven

United and Newcastle have stadiums built to be able to increase capacity and are located in the right area to allow that.

The RS are looking into redevelopment because the new owners don't want to spend 200mill on a new stadium. Problem is, Klanfield has the same problem Goodison has, a big factor is that they located in residential areas. If the RS could redevelop, they would have years ago. No owner would sit on their arse if klanfield could be upgraded to a 70k stadium that they would easily fill. Would be a no brainer
