The genuine plans are out there for re-developing Goodison, somewhere.. I just cant find them right now ( still looking ffs ).. Its not cheap, but its not out of this world either..

BK and his lies over the Kings Dock, " the money is ringfenced ! " is what has made sure OUR club will not win the league in the next generation..

This ?

Here's the actual impact their proposed design would have:

And that would be a completely new stadium, meaning Goodison would be knocked down and all we would gain is an extra 10,000 seats.

Nice one Brennan.. cant tell, but it involves going into the school on Bullens Road ( which the council approves of I believe !? )

Tom Hughes and Trevor Skempton both reknowned experts in this field believe a phased redevlopment of GP is viable and cost effective. There is a lot of info on this on the KEIOC website. You'll have to use your common sense though as some aspects are clearly biased.

With the amount of money about to come in we will never be in a better position to make something happen for ourselves. We won't though. It's a lot easier to take money out of a struggling club.

Have they actually released any plans themselves ?

I'm not doubting their belief, more questioning why they haven't backed that up with architectural plans.

I think plans were originally done around the time the park end was redone as that was supposed to be two tiered at one point.

I'm not sure if they have been re-costed but on TW Tom Hughes stated he believed it could be done for around the Kirkby cost so I assume he has.

I imagine it'd be both time consuming and costly to do it though.

That looks nice but I'd still like a bit more character to the inside. If Liverpool can have a new Kop, why can't we have a new Gwladys? I know that's probably asking way too much, like.

Anything on the same site in L4 now and I'm over the moon though.

The Gladwys is just a regular two tiered stand. Even the Kop is nothing but a large single tiered stand, there's nothing inherently special about the structure of either.

True, but it's not identical to any of the other stands. At Goodison, none of our stands are the same and I reckon that's boss. I don't want a bowl or an identikit stadium. If we can get some Goodison into any design we come up with, in the future, we should.

PLEASE - do not kill the great atmosphere we have at Goodison.

It is a nightmare going for a half time p1ss in the GR main stand right enough.
