Just noticed the new Greek finance minister's name is Euclid. Imagine he'll come at this from a different angle than Varoufakis.
*gets coat
He should be in his element....

I may be wrong, but I think a number of you like Owen Jones. I've just stumbled upon his Youtube channel. His latest video is on the EU and Greece.
I've heard he can be a bit obtuse.Just noticed the new Greek finance minister's name is Euclid. Imagine he'll come at this from a different angle than Varoufakis.

It's all a matter of degrees...
Let's hope he reflex on recent events.

Very interesting and a very fair summary of the situation as it currently stands. With in his chat is apparently a very strong argument in it to me not about exiting the EU but exiting the Eurozone so that individual countries can return to their original currency and be in a much better position to mange their affairs without cow-towing to Germany and France.
In our own situation, Cameron will never get the amendments he wants because Germany and France will not agree never mind all the smaller nations. His attack on Germany over the currency and their trade is true, it could also to some extent point the finger at France.
could be a perfect storm for him to go for it, Greece in turmoil , Spain ect jittery the EU cant afford a UK get out ,if he plays it correctly he might get more than a bit of tinkering.I think Cameron will get what he wants. I think he is purposely asking for things that are easy to change so that he can come back and hail it as a big win. He wants us to stay in.

Or he could be seen as a massive distraction at a time when focus needs to be elsewhere and the rest of the EU politely tell him to F off.could be a perfect storm for him to go for it, Greece in turmoil , Spain ect jittery the EU cant afford a UK get out ,if he plays it correctly he might get more than a bit of tinkering.
yep think your right, seems to have the devils luck this fellaWell, yeah. I don't think he wants to though. He loves the EU as it is.
if he called there bluff that would get interesting, well if he had the balls to go for it that is.Or he could be seen as a massive distraction at a time when focus needs to be elsewhere and the rest of the EU politely tell him to F off.
