GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread

I'm not convinced by Ryeback yet but he could be amazing. Lots of promise.

He plays the hard man great, but he needs abit of personality to go with it really.

Also, it doesn't help that he is making these really big appearances, and yet is made to fight against crap

One of the main reasons why this week's show was much better than recently was that last weeks' RAW did its' lowest rating in 15 years on U.S. tv, and as a result they fired the head writer of RAW, Brian Gerwitz, who'd been in the job for the last decade.

As for the show, Vince McMahon is 67 years old and is still diving over tables and taking falls on concrete floors. That guy is nuts.

Ryback looks like he's being groomed to be the next major main event star.

Ryback Vs The Rock at Royal Rumble maybe? Or maybe just him against Big Show or sheamus or something, with Cena as champion will face the Rock again

Could be. I think it will be Punk vs Rock at the Rumble, and then Rock vs Cena in a rematch at WM29.

Ryback's getting a huge push though, so who knows. Maybe he'll wind up in a title match sooner rather than later.

Maybe Punk vs Ryback for the title at WM29? Imagine if Punk held the title until WM29, at which point he'd have been champion for over 500 days, vs a still unbeaten Ryback? That'd be a pretty big match.

As for the bold bit, I was stunned when the McMahon/Punk match went ahead on that scale. Simply because you think they would have learned after the Lawler heart attack - who Vince is actually older than - that there should be an upper age limit applied to the WWE.

I just watched the new CM Punk dvd. Luckily i watched it before it was taken down off YouTube. You can download it from a torrent site though. Very good watch, one of the best wwe documentaries i have seen.

Yeah but its Vince and he's crazy so will do what he wants anyway.

As for Ryback, i just can't see it with him. Sure he's done ok and is over, and Monday night was a great bit of booking to put him over but all this talk about main events and titles is way too premature for me. He's not Goldberg and shouldn't be treated as such.

I always agree with your wrestling posts mate.

What did you make of Punk's erm...actions?

Just reading some WWE forums, alot are quite bored of whats happening.

WWE certainly needs a change, IMO i'd say cut down on the PPVs, have just 4 all year: Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, Summmerslam and Money in the Bank...then the others can just be extended versions of Smackdown/Raw without having to pay for it. Also - bring back swearing!!
