GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread

Got this dick on my Facebook who often changes his picture when big WWE events are taking place etc, i.e. the Summerslam logo etc. Sad [Poor language removed]. He put "thinking about Jerry tonight" today, I had to laugh. I was gonna reply "Was it scripted?" but I knew he'd probably have a heart attack himself with his reaction.

I thought it was a worked piece at first when i saw it on youtube, but you could hear his heavy laboured breathing down the mic. Sure he'll be ok but still shocking

WWE should feel a big deal of guilt however. He is a 62 year old man and should not be doing matches at his age!

Maybe, but they don't force him to wrestle, he does a lot of bookings outside WWE as well. And from all accounts he is a very fit man for a 62 year old.

He's famously never smoked and is teetotal, and you can tell from his body throughout his career that he's never done steroids.

Just watched it on tape just now. He's talking fine during the match, then all of a sudden you hear these weird snoring sounds, then nothing at all as he's fallen off his chair, off camera. Then they keep the cameras away from the announcers desk until he's backstage. Just awful, doubly so to happen on live tv.

Poor guy, hope he survives. Cole looked absolutely devastated and was nearly in tears.

Supposedly he was clinically dead for 20 minutes.

WWE should have stopped the show.

I wish Jerry Lawler well, I've always found him likable, and although never shown in a serious light in WWE is a bona fide legend.

Some great news, the brain scan results revealed that he's suffered no brain damage at all, despite his brain not having oxygen for numerous minutes. The latest news is that all his breathing tubes and ventilator have now been removed and he's sitting up in bed, now able to talk, laughing and joking with his family. Made up that it seems like he's going to be alright.

Great to see Lawler's recovery going well, I really hope he doesn't rush himself back to work, instead taking some time off to fully recover. Will be interesting to see who does commentary whilst he's away (though I imagine Cole and Josh Matthews, will both do Raw and Smackdown).

Anyone ordering Night of Champions tomorrow? I might considering it's my last week off before going back to Uni on the 24th.
