For a Summerslam, the 3rd/4th PPV of the year, I think the card is pretty pathetic. (sorry Alio)
Even Lesnar vs HHH is not as good as it should be. Poor build up, mainly due to the fact Lesnar has hardly said a word.
I was excited by Lesnar's return but to say they've used him poorly would be an understatement, but that is partly due to his limitations too.
Punk, Show, Cena....so fed up of these 3.
Ziggler vs Jericho will be a good battle. But the story behind it is poor. These two can put on a great show but probably won't be allowed to.
Can't remember who Sheamus is fighting but hell probably retain.
Hope I'm wrong, but I'm by staying up for it.

Punk will retain I guess. Already set him up for a match against the Rock at Royal Rumble.
Sheamus v del Rio, can see del Rio winning this. Predict Orton being champion before the year is over.

Brodus Clay vs Sandow is another on there that might just keep the crowd about.

It is dying, Needs to sack the PG And go back TV-14.
"Social Media Ambassadors" are cringeworthy, the shameful plugging of "Tout" is pathetic - because apparently Twitter & YouTube don't do the same job right? It's amazing really - the show went to 3 hours, which just meant more frequent adverts, more social media plugs and less wrestling.
It used to be my late night "no thought required" viewing but lately I just can't do it; just winds me up. I only watched recently for Daniel Bryan, CM Punk and Chris Jericho. Oh, and the fun of hearing the smart crowd chant "Goldberg" whenever Ryback shows up.
Cena is giving me eye aids too ffs.

Really needs Linda to stop this running for political office stuff and head away from PG programming. I believe that their toy deal with mattel doesn't help either as its worth a lot of money and obviously aimed at kids.
There's no proper villian heels anymore either. They're all portrayed as cowardly unless they're a giant like Big Show or Henry. You need heels that people hate, will do anything to win, destroy opponents and are generally nasty bstards. You need to hate the heels to make the faces inevitable victory all the better

Just to turn away from the state of wrestling nowadays, I rate JBL's 2004 heel title reign as one of the best of this century, is the fact that he played, and the character was booked so well. Everytime it looked like he was going to lose the belt he found a way to keep it, allowing him to get more heat and not making the faces look weak in the process.
I doubt I'll be staying up for summerslam tonight, I'll probably look at the reviews of the show tomorrow and maybe order the replay (or just watch the good matches online somewhere).
