GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread

100% wrong mate. In any business, the product has to appeal to the consumer; it's been that way since the dawn of time. There's no obligation whatsoever on any fan to cheer a certain way. They can cheer for Dr. Pepper or a pair of curtains if they want; the WWE has no right to lambast them for doing so. The WWE have to provide a compelling product to draw the fans in; if the fans are cheering for a guy not on the card, then the WWE have simply failed to do that.

My point is that the fans KNOW what WWE are like and if they genuinely want the product to change, they need to stop going. Paying WWE your money and then chanting for a guy who isn't there ultimately doesn't help. They've already got your money, so why should tehy do what you want?

Chanting for a guy who is not in their plans no matter what will eventually convince WWE that said guy is actually someone worth getting behind. Bryan is a good example of this. He's not the main guy but he's certainly getting a sizeable push because fans stuck with him no matter how badly he was buried

WWE want CM Punk and would use him if he was there. But he isn't there because he doesn't want to be. Sod him in all honesty, whether he's right or not. He left those same fans in the lurch. The fans just want to get themselves over as well by chanting for Punk or chanting for Divas

Is it safe to come in lads? Bungle has been stalking me for a throw down and I'm worried for my arse

I was actually happy that Punk left. I wish every star left WWE, just to give then a huge kick in the arse. They certainly need it. Nothing pleases me more than to see this company have difficulties. Lets say..if Bryan also left, maybe they'd realize that their product needs to change?
Because it's been stale and SH1T 90 percent of the time, since they turned PG in 2008 (or something). With a **** product, they wont be able to make new stars either. There will be no new The Rock, Stone Cold or even Cena if they don't change. Can't wait to see them panic when Cena retires.

A new star need a long and solid build up, not being pushed to be world champ in 3 months time without ANY good storylines or any proper build up. They should learn from how they put the title on Eddie. That's the correct way. The way Sheamus won it = the wrong way. Fluke wins don't put you over, even though he was a heel. He was new and green as ****.

This is quality - "go on, smell me Renee" hahahaha

Apparently Antonio Cesaro has dropped Antonio so he is now just "Cesaro". He also beat Orton clean on Smackdown which makes it pretty clear to me that Orton is winning at EC. He's now lost on TV to Bryan, Cena and Orton. Can't see him losing all these going into the PPV and then losing there too.

Watched the Rumble ppv (my first show since the ppv before Summerslam). Usually skip through every Raw in a matter of 10-20 minutes these days, unless something special happens. Can't wait for The Undertaker to return. None of today's storylines manages to catch my interest. It's stale and boring and the people I hate (Cena, Orton and especially Sheamus) is pushed. The people I like (Christian, Regal, Ryder, Ziggler, Cesaro, Barrett) is used like stepping stones for the people I hate, or not used at all.

The Wyatts is a breath of fresh air. I used to love the shield, but the fact that its Reigns that is pushed is sad. I like both Ambrose and Rollins more. And superman punch. Brilliant. Or not.

This.

It doesn't matter a damn bit what people chant on arenas, it matters that they pay their money to do so. Which they do.

It doesn't matter how hard a guy works, how dedicated he is, how many people cheer for him. It only matters if he makes money.

Ok, maybe thats not set in stone and there are exceptions but as a general rule its about who makes the company money and who they think can make them money.

Punks a whiny idiot and always has been. If he'd walked out to protect his character (thus protecting his money making potential) that would be understandable but if he walked out at some kind of protest at the product overall he's just being daft.

Its not great at the moment in my view, lots of things i'd like to see be done differently but i don't spend money on them so i'm not their target audience. Ratings and buys aren't as good as they could be but they've been worse so i'm pretty sure overall they're doing fine, and with no competition they have no urgent need to change anything.

So won't really give a crap if people on messageboards moan cause Dolph ziggler isn't getting a push after dropping the ball every time he had been given one.

I really hope they dont judge Bryan if he dont sell merch, because the merch they've made for him is horrendous

This is true.

But its more tv artings, ppv buys and house show attendances. Not sure exactly how well he does in that regard, certainly don't think he does anything significant in that regard.

Which you could say is down to how he's booked but regardless he's still in a pretty damn good position thousands of wrestlers would love to have. And if they don't have faith in him to be a main guy thats just too bad.

At the end of day, like Punk or not he and Bryan Danielson are the two best things in the WWE and the show certainly won't be as good without him.

Orton, Kane, Cena, Batista etc are all boring as ****.

Thank God the Wyatts and the Shield are interesting because it's really going downhill, God Knows what they can do for Mania.
