Transfusion like part of the storyline or an actual transfusion?

I have a hard time believing wrestling since they lied that Hacksaw Jim Duggan actually married a piece of wood mate.

An actual blood transfusion, he lost around 2-3 pints of blood that night because he bladed a little too deep into his forehead

Really he did? Or storyline mate? Was this actually verified? Mad stuff if so.

Legit lost that much blood, just double checked to be sure I had facts right, he didn't have a transfusion but he did go into shock backstage and had to be rushed to hospital for 16 stitches and had IV's put in to get fluid back into his body

Can see him take the blade from the ref and when he gets hit with the chair, he blades as his head is buried behind the little table.

Getting treatment after the match.

And that 100% is on wikipedia or something mate and not what the commentators said in the next show? Christ, that's pretty mad if so like.

Wrestlers cut their forehead with a tiny part of a razor blade, hidden within tape around their wrist. They do this during a dramatic moment of a match, e.g. get whacked with a chair to the head, immediately go down, hands to face, and whilst doing so cut their head. That's how wrestlers bleed.

It's been standard practice for decades. Most wrestling fans are aware of this. It's not some unconfirmed rumour. WWE banned the practice a few years ago, due to a now PG product, so no blood to scare kids, plus there were fears over HIV and AIDS being spread.

In other promotions, blading still goes on. I was at a show 3 weeks ago and a wrestler bladed about 6 feet from me, at ringside on the floor.

I thought it was fake blood like. This is defo?

Anyone here got WWE 2K14?

Was playing it last night. Good game so far. Just finished the Hulk Hogan part of the Wrestlemania Mode

A bit annoyed that they didn't have Savage Vs Warrior on it, but everything else included was good. Hogan Vs Savage at Mania V was probably the most fun to play thus far
