GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread

Ijjysmith, check out Challange tv on wed at 10pm for the ppv. I like the idea of Haymen's guy v the shield but I can't see wwe doing a storyline that isn't "goodie vs baddie" for the kids. Good idea but to complex for current wwe tv storytelling. They would botch it anyway.

Thanks man - i'll defo catch that on Wednesday.

And you are right. They'd defo mess that up!

They've done Face v Face and Heel v Heel before in this era and before that so its not completely out of the realms of possibility. Examples of this are Undertaker v Mysterio at Royal Rumble 2010, Triple H v Jeff Hardy at No Mercy 2008, John Cena v Shawn Michaels in 2007, Undertaker v Batista multiple times between 07 and 09, Orton v Sheamus in 2010, Michaels v Hart in 97, Michaels v Martel in 92 etc

On a side note Daniel Bryan was the f'n man on Raw last night

You can't turn the shield face! That would kill any momentum and heat they have built so far. Stevo27, most of those storylines you put forward were Face Vs Face, that's easy to do. Its Heel V Heel that's tricky and I can't think of the last time that wwe did a heel v heel story. To make a heel v heel story work you need the right guys and the right heat with the fans. Neather the Shield and Axel are at that level yet. It may work for the older fans but they aren't the ones that wwe care about at this time.

Just saw this again on Youtube

One of my favourite angles that hardly anyone ever saw. Regal's commentary is excellent "I had an intervention 13 years ago, it wasn't as exciting as this though"
