The thing was, they put Bart in that fight because they wanted him to win and feud with Austin

A lot of people say they put Gunn in that fight to make him look bad, but it was actually the exact opposite. They wanted one of their guys to get a big win over Butterbean. It's just a shame that Gunn was out of his league when it came to fight time

Maybe that's the case, but it was poor forward thinking.

Despite being seen as a 'sideshow attraction' Butterbean was a trained professional boxer.
