GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread

Christian better win it back in a rematch! Maybe at Over the Limit? Mad by WWE to give it to Orton already, give the man chance to build a rapport with the Smackdown crowd.

Every champ gets to choose a rematch don't they? Is it in the money in the bank format when they can choose to have it straight after they've had a match for example? I can't imagine Christian doing it that way but WWE bum Orton too much to make him lose it again.

Lol gutted for him, I always liked Christian and if WWE had backed him he could of had some solid feuds with Del Rio, Henry etc. Personally the should of left a few more heels on SD! like Drew Mac and Dolph Zigler and pushed them rather than have them as cannon fodder on raw. Sigh, at least the Rock is around. Hate to say it but losing interest in it, particularly as Cena is champ again...

On a separate note anyone watch Zack Ryder's youtube videos? The man is hilarious! He needs a massive push based on them alone.

Also Tough Enough is pretty top notch reality TV. Andy to win!

TOUGH ENOUGH SHOW 5 BELOW -if any want previous 4 shows can post them i think, will post new tough enoughts here each week

Me and my mates got Wrestlemania on ppv and watched it on the Monday night after work. I was sat there watching the Cena v Miz match and I began to think my eyes were deceiving me but after rewinding the match a few times I couldn't believe it, I could see a fan waving 'Old Glory' (An Everton flag) in the crowd. After a little snooping around the internet I found the lad on twitter and he sent me a photo of it.

How long before Orton will be champion of the SmackDown branch, any bets?

Think SmackDown has been devaluated last night. Was a good thing to see Orton and Cena being drafted from Raw. Although in Cena's case it was just too good to be true. With Alberto del Rio, Rey Mysterio and The Big Show drafted to Raw, SmackDown looks seriously lightweight compared to Raw.

Agree on Drew mcIntyre, about time they start giving him a higher profile. See a lot of potential in him, as I mentioned earlier in this thread.

WARNING SMACKDOWN SPOILER BELOW
------------------------------------------------
Randy Orton pinned Christian for the heavyweight title

That's right...2 days after winning it, they make him lose it.

WTF?!

Well, that's quick. Love Orton, but never seen this coming.

A couple of years back at mania there was a 'Feed The Yak' sign about two rows from the front!

In fact here it is:

When I first started this thread I was gonna do a little feature on an old school wrestler every week....well that didn't happen...so i'll do one now...and then do some more later:

The times features wrestler is.............

MACHO MAN RANDY SAVAGE - OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHH YEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAH

Real name: Randall Mario Poffo

Savage was recognizable by wrestling fans for his distinctively deep and raspy voice, his ring attire (often comprising sunglasses, a bandana or head band, flashy robes, and a cowboy hat), intensity exhibited in and out of the ring, and his signature catch phrase ("Ooh yeah!"). WWE has said of Savage: "There has never been a Superstar more colorful than "Macho Man" Randy Savage. His style—perfectly punctuated by his entrance music 'Pomp and Circumstance'.

The Macho Man was 7 time World Champion winning 2 WWF Championships, 4 WCW World Heavyweight Titles and 1 time Unified World Heavyweight Champion aswell as 1 time WWF Intercontinental Champ. He also won the 1987 King Of The Ring. During his career in WWF and WCW he was managed by his real life wife Miss Elizabeth (twit twoo).

Let's hear it for the Macho Man ...

Charlie Sheen has nothing on him. Nothing. OOOOOOOOOHHHHH YEEEAHH

I was watching my best of Wrestlemania vid the other day and Savage was so damn good on it. Matches against Stemaboat, Warrior and the night he wrestled 4 matches to win the WWF title.

Very flambouyant and pretty crazy but a very very good wrestler, always reliable to deliver a memorable match or promo.

Got loads more of these planned if they're interesting to people? Even if just good for a bit of nostalgia.

Yeah defo post some more please Smithers, maybe one every week or so discussing a classic wrestler.
