GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread

Haven't seen Raw last night but read about it. Seems to me that next week will be the big one setting up at least HHH v Lesnar and possibly Undertaker v Punk. Reckon Lesnar will come down during the Vince v Heyman fight and get involved prompting HHH to come out and save Vince. Then in Punk v Cena, reckon Undertaker will cause a distraction (whether he is there or not or a simple lights out/gong during the fight) letting Cena get the win. To me the card looks like this at the moment...

Cena v Rock
Del Rio v Swagger (Ziggler cashing in)
HHH v Lesnar
Undertaker v Punk
Kane v Daniel Bryan
(Barrett v Sheamus & Cesaro v Miz will likely happen but possible pre-show material)

Then obviously things will happen regarding The Shield, Orton, Ryback & Jericho. Whether it is a six man or what I'm not sure as surely they can't just keep having three randoms taking on The Shield but all those guys will definitely be involved. As, you would imagine will be the Big Show and Mark Henry.
 
Why are people calling for Punk/Taker when nothing has even been mentioned by Punk in relation to the streak? It makes no damn sense for Taker to interfere in next weeks match without good reason

While you are correct there has been no sign on TV of it happening, he is the most likely option for Undertaker to fight should he be in a position to at Wrestlemania. It has long been rumoured that is what the WWE will do. As for Punk not mentioning it, he is hasn't finished his previous storyline yet, hence me thinking it will happen next week. I think you're giving the WWE writers a bit too much credit stating there is "no good reason"...
 
Actually, thinking about it they have a perfect in to the storyline as Punk has been banging on about his "streak" of holding the title for however many days it was so they can easily tie Undertaker's streak into that.
 
Would be very surprised if Taker comes back for this years Wrestlemania now.
On another note how many times has Ziggler lost recently, making him look extremely weak, as if he didn't enough with a female manager/muscle.

I really, really like it. His theme music is great as well.

Was refreshing to see a person from left field win a match like the Chamber too.

All we need now is a mid-carder to win the Rumble one year from out of the blue.
 
They've needed to retire that stupid spinner belt for years. I guess it sorta made sense when Cena first introduced it, since he had the whole rapper thing going at the time, but it's ridiculous that they just kept using it for so long. It'd be like just continuing to use Austin's old "smoking skull" belt long after it had changed hands countless times.
 
The way Swagger "won" the Chamber match did him exactly no favours. He should have pinned Jericho and then submitted Orton clean in the Ankle Lock. Getting a fluke roll up after Orton and Henry did all the work makes him look like a loser, which is fine if he's in the mid card but terrible if we're supposed to buy him as a legitimate threat to the World Champion at Wrestlemania. Del Rio got a submission win over Big Show. There's no way Swagger is the right choice for Mania right now. They're going to have to give him some serious wins leading up to the title match
 
I didn't have a problem with the EC finish (I actually really liked it), but I'm also not sure he's ready for the 'Mania main event. I like Swagger in the ring, and I think this new gimmick could really catch on, I just question the wisdom of pushing him the absolute peak this quickly. If he loses, it could potentially wreck his whole character and get him shipped right back to midcard hell. I almost think he has to win in order to avoid being overly damaged now - the question is whether people will buy him going that high that fast.
