GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread

I hoped for Jericho or DB personally, but Swagger was a fun surprise. Rather him than Orton or Henry. Kane deserves it, but it wouldn't really make for an exciting main event at WM now, if he won, would it. Swagger vs Del Rio should be a good match. I don't think I can ask for more these days, when there's a total lack of good storylines. Actually I can't think of ONE SINGLE STORYLINE that interests me in todays WWE. Sad, really, one month before Wrestlemania.

How many missed spots in that PPV?

Still it was alright. If it was at any other point during the year it would have been fine. But it's not.

It's the last PPV before mania. Needed much much more. Chamber was good but weirdly Mark Henry stole the show. Didnt think I'd ever say that!

Raw needs to be awesome. Buy rates will be low for mania at the minute.

As mentioned before mate, the Heavyweight title is never the main event anyway. It will be early on in the card.

I don't get your 'Taker & Lesnar to return tonight, if Taker doesn't return....' That makes no sense. Is he or isn't he? It's ok if you don't know. Just sound like you might know something.

No I don't know anything I'm just saying that to have a decent build up to a match at Mania' he has to appear about now doesn't he? There's been talk of Taker' not competing at Mania too. None the less I think we'll defo see Lesnar tonight to probably set up the HHH rematch.

Not sure I'm happy about the HHH Lesnar thing. It won't be a good match.

You're right about Taker. I've a bad feeling he's not doing it.
 
They have 6 weeks to get a good card. I just can't see it, past years we've seen long builds ups. Lawler/Cole , Vince/Brett etc. We have absolutely nothing apart from last years main event... again.

And last years main event is so obvious it's annoying me already.

I wonder why they've done it this year.

WWE PPV sales were actually up in 2012. The U.S. average for the year was up 29,000 on the average for 2011.

Buyrates for the 2013 Rumble ppv and obviously last night's Chamber ppv haven't been announced yet.

Rock has been a major draw since he came back, Raw tv ratings are well up, all the tv tapings he has worked have sold out with only Rock featuring in all the advertising.

I don't have a problem with Rock vs Cena for the WWE title as the main event. It's a cert Cena wins, and gets his win back, as Rock is leaving after WM29 to go to Hungary to film the Hercules movie.

I predicted Swagger would win, you could see Del Rio vs Swagger a mile off the minute they gave Swagger a new manager and went down the immigration story route. I still think Ziggler is running in after that match and cashing in at WM29.

I actually like Swagger winning the Chamber match. He's got a new look, new manager, new music. He's not a bad wrestler by any stretch of the imagination.

I reckon Taker shows up tonight to set up a match vs Punk. Lesnar vs HHH will probably happen too - I just hope Lesnar wins.

Also, Wrestlemania 30 has just been announced for New Orleans, Sunday April 6th, 2014.

Honestly after last nights PPV I can see Punk using the ref bump (caused by him pushing the Rock) as a way of forcing himself into the Rock/Cena match for Mania
