You're so wrong, mate.

If she was in the Rumble and won, people would probably cry about that. By introducing her at the end, it allowed the established and past women to shine and it didn't take anything away from the actual women's Royal Rumble.

I think she looked like a star.

People just like to take a dump on everything.
By introducing her the way they did they completly devalued the whole match we just watched. Asuka just beat 29 other woman in a historic first of its kind match to earn a title shot at Mania. Instead of all the attention being around that, which is were is should be WWE make it all about Rousey and make it obvious that she's going to Mania for a title match to. Now that was obviously coming but to show it there when we've just watchd a match were the whole premise is to EARN the right for a title match at Mania is stupid.

It's not having a dump on somthing to question what your seeing mate. Far to often people look at criticism and decide that because they disagree said criticism is invalid. I'm not a fanboy who looks uncritically at everything WWE does. I liked that match and I thought the Rousey segment in itself was good but the timing was wrong for me. It was Asuka's moment and they made it all about Rousey. If they wanted to do that they should of just let her enter at number 30 and win since she basically took all the spotlight anyway.

Did anyone else think the WWE title match should of gone on later then it did? Not a criticism in the match or anything but I just don't think the WWE title or Universal title should ever be the opening match on the main card for any show much less a PPV and certianly not on a big four PPV. I think one of the tag title match's would of been better suited for that position.

She's a massive global star, mate. It's in WWE's best interests to have in the mix at Wrestlemania. Her being there benefits the entire women's division - it could even lead to a female main event at Wrestlemania.

be funny if she goes to wrestlemania and ends up in some crappy 10 women tag team match

Absolutely this.

You just know people would have been like ‘ooohh they let her win the Rumble on her first day. That’s not fair. Mer mer mer whinge whine’

This was perfect.

Pretty much the only thing I didn’t like on the night was the weird ordering of the matches and the weird handling of some Rumble story bits. Like Ziggler.

Well of course it is mate. I'm not disputing the logic in having her in the title picture at Wrestlmania I just think the timing was wrong to have it be about her. They could of gone there before the match or done it the following night on RAW but to do it right after the Rumble match when it should all be about the match itself, the historic context of it and the winner Asuka was wrong imo. I have no doubt she'll be good for the woman's division but I doubt we'll see a woman's match main event Wrestlemania for many years to come.

Nah I can't see that happening. She was always going to be featured in a big way and quite rightly so as she's a star and will be a big draw. She was always going to have a title match which will no doubt go on near the end, the only other thing they might do to other then a title match is for her to face Stephanie and I REALLY hope they don't do that!

We'll have to agree to disagree, mate. I think they handled it perfectly and nothing was taken away from Asuka's victory. If anything, her standing was enhanced by disrespecting Rousey with the handshake rejection.

Fair enough mate we clearly just see it differently. I don't think her standing needed to be enhanced personally, as the winner of the first ever woman's Royal Rumble her standing is at an all time high anyway. All about opinions though.;)
