Unreal stuff. I can't recall many from WWE off the top of my head rar now but that one stands out.

Up there with:

The Okada vs Omega matches
Omega vs Naito in the G1 Finals
Shibata vs Okada - Shibata has more or less had to retire from wrestling cos of this match. The headbutt is sickening and completely messed him up.

There was that Strowman match with Lesnar and Samoa Joe that was just hilariously good too.

AJ v Cena at the Rumble
Alastair Black v Velveteen Dream (Shocked me how good it was. Perfect story telling match)
Dunn vs Bate (pretty much any of them!)
Omega vs Okada (preferred the first one myself)

Off the top of my head. Probably loads I’ve missed.
 
Surprised no one had mentioned Ibushi would be fighting on the card on before hand. He's sensational imo. I actually expected his match to easily beat Jericho's, but boy was I wrong. Jericho v Omega delivered and it was easy to see how much Jericho himself was enjoying it. He probably haven't had that big match feel in the ring for years, being a mere jobber in WWE.

He is in no way a jobber in wwe. He ensures he helps improve whoever he is paired with to the very best of his ability. Which as we all know is exceptional.

If only Hunter was the same.

You're right. He makes people shine (Owens) and then he loses 90% of his matches to put others over, so basically he's a jobber with a lot of TV time. Not saying he should complain about it, it's a good thing for a veteran to do. He's still better than the entire WWE Roster in anything he does (except The Miz obviously, who's just as entertaining).

And yeah. Triple H is a joke.

I think that's just desperation for any type of competition or just a watchable alternative to WWE. TNA had it going for them for a few years, with NJPW it's always had a core support that occasionally swells and peaks a little bit.

I don't think hipster would be a very apt description these days for ANYONE who enjoys any type of pro-wrestling!lol

I guess you could see it that way. Personally I'm just made up that a large number of people who would never of watched NJPW before have now done so because of this Jericho match and hopefully some of them stick around and watch more. There's room in the buissness for both types of wrestling shows and I think it's great if you can enjoy both for what they are and for the differences each provide.

Quite a few of them I can’t actually remember. So not those ones!

Forget about some the #DIY ones. They were all amazing.
The War Games match was really fun too.
Lesnar Styles was another great one I’d forgotten and it wasn’t even that long ago. Lesnar battering AJ’s head on the mat was ace.
The Uso’s never have a bad match either. Easily the best WWE tag team at the minute. Possibly in all of wrestling.

But yeah a few of the others made my list too.
