Absolutely not for me. I need the glitz, loud music and bright lights. It’s entertainment not actual fighting. If I wanted that I’d be more into MMA stuff.

As for the crappy camera angles. Jeez.

That's the thing, some people like "sports entertainment" others enjoy pro-wrestling. The more glitz and glammer they have on a show they lose what wrestling should be for me. If I wanted to watch an overly choreographed fight with perfect production I'd watch a film. To me everything the happens in a show is irrelevant apart from what happens in the ring in the actual match's. Over use on the production and the show side and lack of attention to the match's themselves is part of the reason WWE is so bad these days imo.

If I wanted to watch wrestling I’d wait for the olympics.

I need the whole package otherwise it’s just not that great for me.

It's one thing to have the whole package but at what point does it stop being pro-wrestling at all? WWE and there presentation of a goddam soapopra is awful. We all want the great story but when your show almost entirely revolves around that and the in-ring stuff becomes unimportant is when the said show becomes a parody of what it once was.

But that New Japan stuff seemingly had no presentation at all. And it ruined it a bit for me.

The match was fine.

WWE just does this side better for me. Way better. In fact it’s not even close. Yeah they over do it a lot. But their target audience is very very different. It’s not designed for you or me anymore.

It's not designed for anyone but Vince McMahon and that's why WWE's audience is so much smaller then it once was and will continue to get smaller. They don't have a target audience on mind and if they do then they don't understand their audice at all. I can fully except that WWE no longer cares about me and others similar to me but that's no reason to make an all-around bad show week after week.
