bring back hornswoggle I say
Nakamura defeating Cena at Summerslam would have had so much bigger an impact than a random episode of Smackdown.... Plus why is a match that could have headlined Wrestlemania doing on Smackdown to begin with... Ah well, Vince knows best...
Atleast they quickly ran away from the Nakamura v Baron Corbin feud I guess...
Bit mad that Elias (NOT SAMSON ANYMORE FOR NO ACTUAL REASON EVER) isn't that bad anymore. In fact i'd go as far as to say quite good.
Cena's off making a movie, so they wanted to get it in whilst they could as he's starting to wind down
Yeah that's grand but...
1. They could have added Nakamura to a triple threat at Summerslam and had him beat Cena clean there....
2. They could have just gone with Nakamura vs Cena at Summerslam, and again had Nakamura win clean.... (have Jinder vs AJ)
3. If they really wanted to make Jinder a star, why not have him beat Cena at Summerslam (and save Cena vs Nakamura for Wrestlemania, which I'm sure Cena will be back for)....
4. Does Nakamura beating Jinder for the title at Summerslam really elevate him?.... Beating a weak champion in a mid card match isn't exactly a big moment...(I should point out I like Jinder, but his title push was rushed out of nowhere so I can't take him as a credible champion yet)....
Nakamura isn't beating Jinder at SummerSlam
Jinder's going to retain
There's months left in this title reign yet
Urgh that commentary last night form Michael Cole: "How can anyone not he impressed by Roman Reigns?". Sorry Vince but no matter how hard you try the people aren't ever going to buy into him.
