You can probably do them both at the same time, no harm in that, but it'll obviously mean a slightly longer session so it depends how your motivation is. That's why it can be good to use your journey to and from the gym to do your cardio as you've got to get there anyway. Then just use the gym for weights.
 
Started riding a bike to work last week. It's about 5 miles one way. I figured it would be good exercise, but I've dropped 10 pounds so far. I'm assuming it's just the winter weight falling away.

Same as me, same distance too. Not dropped that much weight though if any, building up some tasteful leg muscles.

Just cycled to work, cycled back from work to the sports centre, played a mate at badminton, then cycled home. Feeling ace.

Also, its made me want a road bike so I can fly past people.

Couple of things to get you started here lad.

1 - Eat properly. Cut out the Monster Munch in the weekdays and enjoy the weekends.

2 - Get someone who knows the score to do a weights programme and follow it strictly.

3 - Swerve cardio. It's for lycra wearing bells. Just train hard and your body will burn similar calories, and then when you start bulking up your body will burn more calories even when you're sat at your desk swerving the Monster Munch.

4 - Don't start wearing tight tops to show off your guns or you'll look a right tit.

5 - Neck fit girls.

6 - Start taking steroids as you want to take it one step further and look da man.

7 - Get bang into your coke as you are f*cking unstoppable lad.

8 - Slap a few skinny bells in your local wine bar on a Friday and snarl so people cower when you walk in next time.

9 - Start dealing coke and wearing a big [Poor language removed] off gold chain with IGGY on the front of it.

10 - Get dead para and kill a prostitute when roided up one night.

Top then tips there mate, you'll know you're at point number ten when they're asking you to confirm your identity in a court of law. It's a long road but take those first steps and you'll get right into it.

In last week I've done around 8 spinning classes - can't beat it!

Noticed a difference at footy straight away! Just after a week like!
 
add a kfc and a maccies today

fit me lads, but would recommend them strawberry + banana smoothies

My arms are ridiculously weak. My legs are crazy strong.

Need to even it up really whilst losing weight from the tummy area.

I'm by no means Goat, but just want to do something before I get there.
