What about some of the new kids on the block who will be this seasons Vermeallin - i.e. someone we know nothing about but will rack up the points?

Tough call, as they still have to come from one of the better teams. One to look out for is Al-Muhammadi; he won't be clocking up many clean sheets with Sunderland, however he likes to get forward and play as a winger so he'll be one for assists and maybe even a few goals. IF he is a regular starter I'll be purchasing after a few weeks.

Howard
Sagna- Samba- Craddock- Baines
Arshavin- N'zogbia- Ethrington- Bale
Rooney- Tevez

----
Hahnemann
Dunn
Anichebe
Upson

----

This squad is subject to change, obviously, but this is where I stand thus far.

Do you's think Bale will be starting left mid this season? Will he be worth £6.5m?

I don't reckon Bale will score as highly this season. Last season he was classed as a defender but played in midfield, he therefore got more points for scoring etc as a defender. This time they've classed him as a midfielder I think.

I've got me fingers crossed for Rodwell at 5.5 mill.

I need to find a couple of hidden gems..........like etherington, vermaelan, dunne last year.

But he was still getting the assists and the odd goal...

He did do well, I reckon at 6.5 if he plays he could turn out to be a bargain. I'm not sure how Surs will handle it this year though with Europe.

I've got Defoe in at the moment though.

It twists my melon the fantasy footy...............buzz off it though.

Bale is a tough one, he clocked up massive points for a ahlf a season but like you said he was classed as a defender so more points for a defender who scores or assists. The other thing is that he will only get one point for a clean sheet as a midfeilder. Wich can be a good or bad thing if Spurs are tight at the back, its bad but if there really good he could be playing left back and not getting his clean sheet premium, like the rest of his defence.

I cant see him playing midfeild this season with Lennon back to be honest.

Keeping an eye on the transfer situation could be some gems in there if they get regular games at other clubs, ive heard good things about Riveros Sunderlands new winger - but unproven at this level.

As per the terms and conditions for anti-spamming I have pm'd PNS - no reply yet, come on Clattenberg lad, need to get me team sorted.
