Player Valuation: £8m
Love the kid. Great on the floor, but he lacks pace. Exposed against Spurs. Can he grow into our next right winger?

Not sure if he'll grow into a long term right winger, but certainly a useful squad player at the least.

Have high hopes for the lad.

I like him, id be interested in seeing him in a more central position, but we'll have to wait for the friendlies to see that.

Looks like he will be a good player in a year or two. He has got the same positional sense as Cahill, as he gets into them goal scoring positions.

No chance.

Decent squad player at best, useful impact sub aswell.

There's nothing about him that makes you think he could be anything other than decent to be honest.

He's playing a brand new position which he is currently uncomfortable in and it will take him prob 1-2 years to get adjusted at RW.

However if we don't get a LW for next season he'll move back to that position and get plenty of PT due to Pinnear having ANC, and 1000 matches next season w/ club and country duty.

As far as im concerned he came here as a Right Back, impressed me in the freindlies, and has done well in his first year of the premier league - especially given that he has played on both the left and right wings - positions that he isnt used to.

Great future but does not have the pace we need for a winger. More effective in a central position with great ability to get himself into scoring position. I to have high hopes for the lad.

I think there's a bit of a logjam at the Osman/Cahill/Fellaini forward central midfielder which might be his best position - and that competition is what everyone wants. Plus Baxter and Wallace possibly snapping at his heels next season as well if they progress.

I'm impressed by the adaptability of the squad that Moyes is building, when you look at the options and permutations of a fit midfield/forward line or fit midfield/defence.

If we don't crash out of Europa qualifiers he'll get plenty of playing time in the group stages. Plus he'll be able to work out all summer with the club. We'll know alot more about him at this time next year.

sarcasm... please please tell me this is sarcasm

i didn't see him against tottenham but i've seen enough of him to know that he is one for the future. very very few players show the kind of composure he shows at that young of an age, maybe i'm still just under the spell of his goal against liverpool, but even in games after that i've seen him play really well.

only time will tell, but i still think its an insult to cap his potential at squad player.

I'd call it being realistic.

He's gives his all and he's good at getting into goal scoring positions. Outside of that I don't see much to be honest.

He isn't quick, he isn't a great footballer and physically he's nothing special. There's nothing that makes me think he could be anything more than a squad player, I’ve got be honest.

He’s had one complete performance all season, against Boro where he looked good. Other than that he’s been very hit and miss.

Come on Toccy lad, you admire Anichebe a lot but claim Gosling is an impact substitue. If anyone in the squad is an impact substitute, it has to be Vic and that was mainly in last seasons UEFA Cup campaign.

I don't admire Anichebe alot, I think he's useful. A decent squad player.

I'd put Gosling in the same category. Neither of them will ever be first choice players for Everton in my opinion.

aye beckham was loaned out to PNE because he was lightweight and a bit hit and miss as well.

gosling is stll a teenager? lets see where he is in 3 years.
