Something a big club does agree does a ladies team in the league have there own stadium. Just hope is a sign that tfg ect want to push the whole club on ladies and men.

Key thing for me the ground remains a part of the club, still a living breathing, functioning part of our past, present and future.

In years to come young blues can go visit the ground, do tours etc - if you know you’re history.

Means we continue to have a community presence in L4.

Brilliant recognition for the Women’s team.

Means the auspicious of maintaining the statues and all the legacies around Goodison remain with the club to safeguard. Didn’t want the site to be handed over or abandoned by the club to a private developer other council!

I think it’s totally fair mate. I think a lot of people will feel the same when push comes to shove. We’ve all done the thing where you leave a job and say ‘oh we’ll definitely keep in touch’ and not only do you mean it but you genuinely can’t imagine not seeing these people again, but then you meet up and… it’s absolutely awful. Or you move house and then go back to the area a while later and it all just feels a bit wrong, in your head everything should still be exactly as it was but in reality everything’s changed and you don’t like it. This will be the same for a lot of people.
