Bus 174.

It's about a public bus that was taken hostage by a criminal in 2000. I'd advise that you don't research it, or read the Youtube comments before watching it, and then assign a two hour period to watch an absolutely brilliant documentary.

I mentioned this one earlier in the thread, people should most definitely watch.

Has anyone watched 'Room 237' Its a documentary based on the Stephen King film 'The Shining' I'm a big fan of the film but the documentary just sounds bizarre. Before i watch, i was wondering if anyone had seen it and whether its worth viewing?

Not your comment mate! That documentary. Just watched it now and it's gut wrenching. Sums it up for me how criminals are protected and good people don't matter. How can two people like that be punished as much as they were.

unbelievable isn't it. I cannot comprehend how anyone in the justice system did not pick up on the failings at any time. How the lady was allowed out not just once but twice and to have her child back whilst awaiting a murder trial is staggering. The Parents/Grandparents are amazing people really. How they managed to have such dignity throughout the situation is beyond me.

Couldn't have put it any better myself mate. Was a real difficult watch.

If you're a fan of the Shining its definitely worth a watch - but some of the suggestions made about Kubrick's eye for detail and genius are ridiculous to say the least

I watched that Storyville Black Fish documentary last night. A really good watch I thought, and a real eye opener in to how whales live in captivity, i.e. terribly. I was surprised to see Loro Parque in Tenerife was mentioned, and apparently it has a bad reputation. I was there two years ago and really enjoyed the dolphin and killer whale shows, which makes me feel like a bit of a bell now.

I found it very interesting that killer whales have a part of the brain that we don't have. They're much more social than us, and the way whales often beach themselves in large numbers shows that they always stick together. Fascinating stuff.
