I think it looks like a real upgrade and solid transfer window, especially when you remove goalkeepers and players who played less than 45 minutes all season (Holgate, Chermiti, Maupay). Below also shows minutes for those departed, so we’ve not lost a ton of minutes. Doucs and Harrison were the only players near starting XI territory and both were significantly upgraded.

Giving McNeil a higher dribbling rating than Dibling is hilarious. These things are not calculated with any serious scouting in mind, just to sell stuff.

I do not have any frame of reference for how that list has been created, nor can I see any method in the order afforded to the squad.

And I'll say to you:
"It is a base total value out of 100, calculated as the sum of a large range of specific stats (also out of 100), based on last season's performances, irrespective of games played, and will be updated weekly after the game goes live".

3 of the players assigned values weren't even playing in this country last season, let alone this side. We've set up markedly differently this season, and Grealish barely played last year. How attributes in other sides or benched can be projected onto Moyes vision and delivery now seems a little far fetched.
For instance, Tarkowski has looked the far shakier CB so far over our almost stellar start to the season, McNeil has barely had any minutes, Tyrer played for Blackpool last year in what is the third tier of EFL.
I believe there is a lot of smoke and mirrors behind this stat attribution mechanic, and as 'irrespective of games', could suggest the numbers are easily manipulated as a player could play one game and be MotM scoring a hat trick then sit the season out with their rating effectively protected.
