We currently have 17 players out on loan, so we need to loan another 4 players till we have more players on loan than in the squad.

We need to loan out a keeper to get a squad out.

Off the top of my head I can think of 22 first team players (I haven't counted Baningime), which would mean if we minus the two we don't actually own, we just need to get Mccarthy and one other a loan ha.

And thats this season done as far as Ins and Outs, see you all again in May for 19/20, when we will have a first team squad of roughly 40 players, GULP.
 
If you exclude Gomes, Zouma and all the u18s we have 63 players on our books. Of which by my reckoning 21 are out on loan which is exactly a third. Ashley Williams won't return and by the sounds of it neither will Martina. 2 of the youngsters Hilton and Lavery are in their last year so I imagine they will leave at the end of the season. Basically we will have 17 players coming back. 9 of them youngsters who I would like to see at least get looked at in pre season (Holgate, Vlasic, Dowell, Williams, Connolly, Baningime, Robinson, Evans, Onyekuru) 2 of them players that will never make it here (Garbutt, Tarashaj) and 6 players who've had there chance and are not good enough (Bolasie, Mirallas, Sandro, Niasse, Besic, Pennington). Maybe use some of the youngsters in the qualifying rounds of Europa League if we manage to grab 7th and a Sky 6 team wins the cup. Uniteds incentive to win the cup is if they finish 6th and its won from outside the sky 6 they will have to start their season in July so that should hopefully be the incentive they need.
 
I just want to briefly touch on the HomeGrown player rule.

We currently have :

Baines - Out of contract end of season
Charsley???? - Would be shocked if he had a future here
Galloway - See above
Hewelt - Out of contract end of season
Jags - Out of contract end of season
Keane
McCarthy
Pickford
Snides
Iceland
Walcott

So that leaves us with only Pickford, Keane and Iceland who we would wish to retain really, I know some people might question Iceland, but hes going nowhere, DCL would be HG next season and also Joe Williams, but it might mean we retain certain players, like say Walcott, McCarthy for the sake of HG rules.

It will also mean we might have to be a bit more careful when buying players, basically, we need more HG players, something to think about anyway.
 
In the summer after our loans expire and players leave on frees we will need to bring in 9 players and sell/loan 21 players.
