Ham and Pineapple steer clear of him he's from the land that invented Pizzas too!!

they'll have him beheaded over there for such crimes.

Don't want him unless he can play in midfield. Strikers are a thing of the past. We are the revolution. 4-6-0 is here to stay. Mark my words and watch this space as I merrily mix my metaphors
1. Unfortunately we are not playing 4-6-0, we just use a non-striker in striker 4-5-1 role.
2. And this revolution was already done, maybe not in England yet, but AS Rome is well known for playing 4-6-0 in recent years, mostly I think 2 years ago.

Some comments regarding Pazzini from Serie A fans:

"I rate him very highly. I think Fiorentina would be silly to get rid of him, since he's the only alternative to Gilardino. If he gets injured, there will be no alternative.

He has been thought of (for some time) next big Italian striker. Hasn't quite lived up to that billing at Fiorentina, but he's never really been a regular what with Toni and now Gilardino there.

In terms of strengths - he's a good all round striker - quite quick but also strong enough to hold up the ball and be decent in the air. Good technique aswell, has some nice flicks and can turn his defender and also bring his teammates into play. Weakness is that so far in his career, he simply hasn't scored enough goals. He's never hit double figures, and tbh i can't see him doing that well in the EPL. Best position is centre forward, but ideally he should have a partner."

And another one, this time more negative:

"Pazzini is very Gilardino-isque as a player. Decent all around ability, good with head, good movement, and great technique.

But IMO his main weakness has been the lack of physical strength that you need from your centre forward these days, specially when you want the striker to hold up the ball. So he cannot do what players like Drogba, Amauri, Toni, etc do so well. He did do this successfully in the U21 set up, but hasn't been able to do this in the senior game. Also, so far he has lacked the "nose" for a goal like Inzaghi and Gila have

Personally, I think it will be a big mistake for both Pazzini and Everton if that deal happens now. Its not the right time. Pazzini needs to go to a smaller italian side, and define himself as a striker first. Is he going to be a Toni or a Inzaghi, he needs to find his niche. When he finds his niche, he will find his confidence, and then he could play even in EPL. Right now, he will get outmuscled completely, and lose further confidence if he moves to the EPL. Just like what happened with Bianchi and Pelle when they moved outside Italy, it is too soon.

Everton would be much better off with Obinna, who IMO is ready for EPL (tho he will never really score 20+ goals, incase you are lookin for that kinda striker). Acquafresca is another kid who IMO has adapted very well with the physicality of the senior game, and could be ready for EPL. Players like Pazzini and Palladino are not."

I like the sound of this one but really, it's all about the value... at what cost?

Shouldn't we have some play money coming from Yak's injury? Does the club not carry insurance to cover the wages of players injured on the long term?

We could do with an Italian at Everton. We are a little unrefined at the moment.

perhaps they'd let me interview him and translate and show him around town and make friends and stuff like that.
I could make hima soma homa mada pasta so he nota geta homasick.b)

Before anyone accuses me of rascism, I am Italian and therefore am allowed to takka da piss.
