in my opinion, this nothing cup could cost us with injuries, fatigue and bookings.

i agree with " every journey starts with a single step." it has been my opinion that we have always been a step ahead of the league 1961 cup.

Maybe Suits is right, we might as well not try in the Carling Cup at all. We can field our reserve team, and I won't even watch the game. Why should I waste my time on such rubbish? In fact, we shouldn't try in the UEFA cup either, after all its just a Micky Mouse cup compared to the Champions League isn't it?

We should only focus on league position and legitimate trophies. Right now we might struggle a bit to win them though. Lets sell out to some Arabic or American foreign investor, that'll give us enough funding to compete for legitimate trophies. Maybe we can change the club name from Everton FC to Google FC, and have money to speculate on dodgy foreign players left and right. We can buy enough depth to compete for actual legitimate trophies.

I've posted here because Rhys was a Blue and the post is intended for Blues everywhere, members or not.

At this Christmas time can we Blues just spare a thought for the devastated parents of young Rhys who's life was viciously snatched away from him at such an early age.

Their torment will continue for years to come, the callous swine who pulled the trigger still goes free and will no doubt have a normal Christmas while those poor folk suffer so much.

If you say prayers, do so, if you don't just spare a thought, may the little lad rest in peace
