i cannot and will not have FA cup successes soiled by the abomination that is the league cup, we are everton, the uefa cup isnt good enough, like the carling/coca cola/milk/league cup - it is so distant it is an excuse.

i will laud everton when it is appropriate, i refuse to celebrate the hollow type successes that other clubs thrive upon.

hollow type successes? we are not in the Champions League and the FA cup hasn't started for us yet? How do we win these games.

Apparently, all you fans made up we are riding high in europe and in the semi finals of the carling cup are all misguided fools in comparison to Suits' proper perspective on proceedings.

The fact that Moyes has played his strongest teams in all these competitions and the fans have loved them, the players have worked their arses off to beat good teams, home and away whilst keeping up in an improved league - all accounts for nothing. Apparently they shouldn't have bothered getting out of bed.

We are improving our seeding in europe (or co-efficient as its called these days), getting exposure, some extra dosh for the club and attracting a better class of player). We are giving the fans, everton inspired holidays/piss ups throughout europe and watching some truly good football. Most teams use the UEFA cup as a stepping stone to the CL. Apparently we should just fly before we can even walk!

The Carling cup we have never in our illustrious history won once. Surely that counts for something.

I imagine if players or staff ever read a comment like this one(I'm sure they have better things to do), they'd just think, isolated tosser - and move on to the next post that says well done lads.

The league cup is no Intertoto- it means something. Its an established competition and I dont get this why it doesnt mean something to get there. We have beaten teams to get to the semis and the tournament will give us a route into Europe, I dont give a monkeys if it was called The cuntish cup if it gets us into Europe I hope we go and win the [Poor language removed].

A day at Wembley and a Cup final, Im praying to the gods we make it. If we got there for the FA cup as while I'd be over the moon.
