Gerard Deulofeu

I think it speaks volumes that out of 3 managers, 1 took a chance on him and even then didn't really trust him later on in the season. 3 managers have seen his lack of work rate and ability to just to the basics.

Class on his day, his day is rare though, very predictable sometimes.

Personally, best of luck to him, hope he smashes it at AC Milan but I doubt he will.

Find it very interesting that in all the reports of Deulofeu's loan it's mentioned that we weren't willing to include an option to buy.

I think he has a future here but needs games at a good level, and Milan offers that.

He's ideal for Europe, I'd be surprised if he's not playing for us next season.

Picked upon that too.

Koeman obviously sees something there or he'd be looking to get shut along with the others on his hit list.

That is actually a very good point. He can't stay at the club for now as he won't get any minutes in the current situation. Hopefully Geri isn't taking this too personally if Koeman plans to keep him.

Tbf, he'll go and get some game time and either we will choose to keep him (very unlikely) or his stock will go up a bit and some European club with slow/defensively fragile teams will buy him (likely).

I really hope he does come back, with his tricks and skills on his day he is the most gifted player we have. If he puts a decent shift in over in Italy comes back for pre season and works hard there is defiantly a job for him to do here. Also recently our project looks like it's starting to get some momentum why wouldn't he want to be part of it.
